Caustic Calcined Magnesite Powder(Magnesium Oxide) is anti-bending, anti-compression, highly-intensive, binding and cementing. Magnesium oxide (MgO) is generally known as magnesite, light burning powder, as well as magnesium oxide powder. Its density is 2.94, a kind of white powder. Its melting point is 2852 oC, while boiling point is 3600oC. Dissolved in acid and ammonium salt, but difficult to dissolve in water and ethanol. When calcinations temperature reaches 400 oC, its specific surface area is 180 m2 / g.. When calcinations temperature reaches 1300 oC, its specific surface area is only 3 m2/ g.. It is easily deliquescence in the air. It is a kind of binding cementing material.
